MULTISIG-12Second milestone for Decentralized utilities for robotics engineers
Previously Agent became more capable with encryption added. Recent updates to the Command Line Interface (CLI) have introduced default jobs for Docker verification and shell access, improved configuration management with YAML files, and enhanced job tracking through local history storage. Additionally, a new web application offers a user-friendly interface for managing robots and jobs, including detailed job information and remote terminal access. In the future Next phase is mostly about integrating bluetooth as a communication method between agents. Bluetooth is preferable because it allows for message exchange, including between unfamiliar devices, without the need to configure a Wi-Fi network. This provides a modest speed, but it is sufficient for exchanging meta-information and, if necessary, for organizing a separate high-speed communication channel.

MULTISIG-10First milestone for Decentralized utilities for robotics engineers
Robotics engineers understand the challenges of managing a fleet of devices, as current solutions are often inconvenient or reliant on proprietary software. Current messaging systems (for example in ROS 2) have limitations because they depend on specific transport protocols, which makes it hard to scale and work with other systems. As robotic systems use more different communication technologies, there is a strong need for a solution that allows for consistent message sharing without needing a lot of reconfiguration. This reliance on certain protocols creates fragmentation, making system design more complicated and slowing down collaboration across different platforms.

MULTISIG-9Grant Proposal: Decentralized utilities for robotics engineers
Robot agent based on libp2p allows for easier and more flexible message sharing across different communication methods. By using libp2p's system for keeping track of device addresses, devices can be recognized without depending on the specific transport method being used. This simplifies the development process and improves compatibility between various robotic systems. As a result, it makes the design of robotic applications simpler and supports a stronger, more adaptable ecosystem. To be complementary to an existing system, we propose to develop rust bluetooth libp2p transport and integrate it with a basis robot agent. Agent development will simplify the integration of new devices with the robonomics network due to the addition of libp2p node functionality and identity keypair per device. It is also expected to monetize the solution through consulting and IaaS services with DAOs and related companies. Launched agents can directly communicate with the robonomics network increasing the number of useful transactions to the network.
