Currently, V4 Origin Relic Stakers receive

1. 60% of the tax-on-transfer fees from all current and future StarSeeds Protocol's native tokens such as STARV4, BTC-SS and SSG+.

2. 10% of the total supply of SSG tokens, distributed over 4 years.

The actual return for Relic Stakers is proportional to StarSeeds Protocol's TVL, user engagement, and the performance of the STARV4 Liquidity Pool Index.

Which makes it difficult to calculate/make projections for the future returns for Origin Relics, making them a highly speculative DeFi staking option.

This proposal is designed to provide a series of concrete, measurable, early phase incentives for Origin Relic stakers in order to provide a known and secured return to Relic Stakers.

1. Change how tokens generated from the mint of Origin Relics are used.

Currently, POL gained from the mint of Relics are traded for other cryptocurrencies in the STARV4 Index (like WBTC) and then paired with STARV4 from the StarSeeds Treasury and deposited into liquidity pools.

This is a proposal to instead use 100% of POL gained from Relic minting be used to swap for STARV4 using DEX liquidity pools. Then, 40% of the STARV4 gained this way to be burned, with the other 60% being distributed to Origin Relic Stakers over 2 years.

This proposed change would create a large, measurable increase to the first two years of Origin Relic Staking.

Due to STARV4's nature to appreciate in value over the average of the crypto market, the actual $ value return for Relic Stakers from this mechanism will likely be over 100% within two years, possibly much higher.

2. Increase the SSG allotment to Origin Relic Stakers from 10% (1M) to 20% (2M).

This proposed change would double the fixed, flat rate yield provided to Relic Stakers. At the current market rate of $0.1 per SSG, this would raise Relic Yield by $200K for the first four years, or $50K per year.

Boosting the flat rate yield for Relics will be particularly effective in incentivizing early stage Relic mints. Since Relic yield is proportionally divided, a flat rate yield of $50K per year would provide a 4 year return of $1,000 per Relic with a total of 500 Relics staked.

As SSG tokens grow in value due to support from the STARV4 ecosystem, the flat rate yield for Relic Minters will further increase, providing additional incentive for more Relics to be minted.

3. Add an allocation of 100K (10% of cap) SSG+ tokens distributed over 4 years.

This proposed change would further increase Relic yield for the first 4 years.

With the added benefit of showing Relic holders first hand how well the value of SSG+ appreciates over time.

These three mechanisms, together, would provide a much clearer roadmap and timeframe for Origin Relic Stakers to receive back substantially more value than the tokens used to Mint.

4. Change the mint cost of Origin Relics as Relics are staked.

Currently a flat rate of about $350 worth of POL is charged per Origin Relic Mint.

This is a proposed change to increase the cost to mint as Origin Relics are minted at the following rates.

$400 until 2,000 Relics are minted

$500 from 2,001-4,000 Relics minted

$600 from 4,001-6,000 Relics minted

$700 from 6,001-8,000 Relics minted

$800 from 8,001-10,000 Relics minted

This mechanism would provide further incentive for early adopters to mint Relics sooner rather than later by increasing the effective yield for Relics minted earlier.

When these four proposed incentives combined with the existing incentive of 60% of fees from tax-on-transfer tokens, total financial incentives for Relic Stakers will likely exceed 100% of each Relic’s mint cost, each year for the first 4 years, while possibly providing significantly more depending on the performance of StarSeeds Protocols liquidity pool crypto token index.
